My thanks to Dan Kersey, who remembered the bracket we passed out in class the last time the church selected a pope. Notice that the cardinal who won was a sixth seed, which was more of a long shot than Duke. So don’t count out Cardinal Timothy Dolan just yet. Don’t know the names of who is in the running this time, but I hope one of my Catholic friends will get right on it.

Make a new bracket, and this time include a Sister So and So as a fifth seed, and I guarantee you’ll make it again. You may want to hire a publicist.
Mike – add my brother-in-law (Larry) & his brother (Dick) to the brackets. They both live in South Bend & are ardent ND football & girls basketball fans. They’re hoping that even being on the list will get them better basketball seats, & if either of them should get the papacy they might even get football tickets. Here’s hoping!
