the comedy of bestiality

I don’t want to say much about this because it’s so perverse, but the latest sign that our culture has lost its sexual mind comes from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (January 9, 2015). I will provide a link to the video for the sake of documentation, though I would recommend you not watch it. For a full nine seconds (from 4:11-20 in the video), The Daily Show’s correspondent Jason Jones simulates having sex with a dog. It’s supposed to be funny, which is about all you need to know about the world we are living in.

The Daily Show is a prominent voice in our culture, and this clip may explain why it is increasingly difficult to have an intelligent conversation about sex. When our cultural leaders act out bestiality for laughs, anything seems possible. There are few lines left to cross. And it looks like they certainly will.
